Feeling weird about marketing yourself?
Feeling Weird Studio offers marketing and brand strategy support for queer small businesses and independent creatives.
For us queers building something we care about
You know what you’re building and why, but when you think about marketing yourself, your palms get sweaty and you want to throw your laptop into a lake.
I get it — talking about your own work is weirdly vulnerable, even when you believe in it. I'll help you get clear on what you want to say, who you want to reach, and how to put your work out into the world in a way that feels good to you.
This might be for you if
You know your work is good, but you struggle to articulate what makes it worth choosing over everyone else's.
You're not sure who your work is actually for — or how to reach them.
You have a million ideas and no idea which ones to pursue.
You hate talking about yourself and have no idea what to post.
Your website has been sitting half-finished for longer than you’d like to admit.
You're tired of generic marketing advice that doesn’t seem to fit your business.
You want to grow your business without turning yourself into a full-time content creator.
You want your marketing to feel thoughtful, creative, and like you.
Work with me

Marketing clarity session
90 minutes | $250
Most people start here. Bring me the thing you’re stuck on: your website, messaging, offer, marketing plan, your complete lack of a marketing plan. We’ll talk it through and you’ll leave with some clear next steps.

Ongoing support for queer business owners and independent creatives who want a marketing brain in the room as they build, launch, experiment, and figure things out.
Why I do this work
I've spent over a decade doing marketing for other people's companies — big ones, with budgets and teams and quarterly targets. It taught me a lot. It also made me realize how different it feels to do this work for something you actually care about.
When I started building Feeling Weird Studio, I had to figure out how to market myself for the first time. It's vulnerable in a way I didn't expect. I also started to understand why so many small business owners find it overwhelming, or annoying, or just really uncomfortable.
That's what I'm here for. I know how to do this work, and I know what it feels like when it doesn't feel like you.
